Coherence, Healing, and Spiritual Renewal Across Living Systems

Research Focus

We present a transdisciplinary framework that defines restoration as the essential process of regaining coherence and organized continuity after a system has been disrupted. We synthesize insights from systems theory, Indigenous relational ontologies, health sciences, and Christian theology to argue that healing is a universal movement toward reconnection and participation. A central focus is placed on breath as a primary mechanism that links physiological regulation with spiritual and ceremonial traditions of renewal. We further interpret the Holy Spirit as a dynamic restorative presence that fosters relational order and communal flourishing. This work suggests that across all scales of life, restoration functions to transition systems from fragmentation back toward wholeness and interdependence.
