A New Horizon for Human Development Through the Lens of Indigenous Law
Research Focus
We examine the limitations of modern self-development, arguing that focusing on the individual self as the primary unit of growth is fundamentally flawed. Instead, we propose a relational framework inspired by the Indigenous Australian concept of kurunpa, which views spirit as an external, interconnected field. Within this model, human progress is redefined as attunement to communal and environmental obligations rather than personal optimization. We advocate for a shift toward responsibility and continuity to ensure a sustainable future for all living systems.
