Toward a Phase-Conjugate Psychology

We introduces Phase Conjugate Psychology, an interdisciplinary framework that identifies a shared mechanism for healing across physics, depth psychology, and Indigenous wisdom. We propose that phase conjugation—a process in wave physics that restores signal coherence—serves as a literal model for how the mind integrates trauma and insight. By synthesizing Jung’s transcendent function, Bohm’s implicate order, and Meijer’s toroidal consciousness, the text illustrates how psychological fragmentation is corrected through interactions with deeper relational fields. Indigenous ceremonial practices are highlighted as traditional methods that utilize these same nonlinear dynamics to return individuals to a state of wholeness. Ultimately, the model reframes healing not as a linear fix, but as a spontaneous reorganization of the psyche toward its original, undistorted pattern.
